I had the same problem as multiple people who wrote a review on this website, the screw driver part wouldn’t come out. I watched the video multiple times, and I tried everything and it just wasn’t working. I decided to try one more time before throwing it out. I twisted it the way it said in the video, and pushed hard, and then it worked! It is actually a very useful pen now.

My son purchased the pen for me as a Christmas gift. Couldn’t get the screwdrivers out, even following the troubleshooting video. Spent 2 hours trying to get it to work, ended up throwing it in the trash. Waste of time and money. If you’re going to include something like that, have it at the end/base of the pen, and actually unscrew it from the body. I’m sorry my son wasted his money…he purchased it at the Seattle Symphony gift shop, so we can’t even get his money back without making a special trip to Seattle.

Makes a great gift but consider it a novelty pen. Features are functional but the screwdriver is a bit gimmicky. Its difficult to remove, requiring a tool to extract the tool. Screwdriver is only held by a friction fit o-ring and if not careful it can be pushed all the way into its barrel. The pen writes well but runs out quickly. I found the 70mm twist-action pen refills fit this.

Unfortunately, what loos like a nice gadget is actually hopeless as you cannot access the scredriver tips, even when following the video guide as they are immovable.

We can’t get screw driver out. Watched the trouble shooting video. Doesn’t budge. Poor design, could’ve used threads instead of friction fit. Wasted an hour trying to fix this.
