I'm an experienced cross stitcher and did my own thing with the face but if I was new at it, this would be hard to get it centered. What I'm not is an experienced clock installer and would like to know how to put it together so that the clock hands don't just fall down to the 6. Obviously, I'm missing something here but don't know what without some instructions.

The product is cute, but the metal hands of the clock are quite delicate and were bent slightly during transport. Luckily, I was able to straighten them out. Otherwise, it looks cute!

The idea of this kit is great, but the execution of it is very poor. The thread included is not sufficient to complete the design as shown - you don't get enough of one color to complete the center and arms. I had to buy thread to complete it. The "pattern" included with this kit, to complete the design advertised on the packaging, is very poor and hard to follow. There are zero instructions for how to put the clock mechanism together, and I broke the small black cap while trying to figure it out. I would not recommend this kit.

I would have really liked having more detailed / complete instructions included with this item. I don't know how to cross-stitch so I'm having a little trouble actually creating the clock face (and I'm a little apprehensive about correctly putting everything together once I've done the stitching), but I love the concept behind this item, it's such a cool idea, and I am definitely motivated to keep trying to figure out how to cross-stitch so that I can put it to use!
