Pieter Woudt

Pieter Woudt, laureato alla Gerrit Rietveld Academy di Amsterdam, si è trasferito a New York nel 1988, dove ha lavorato per MTV come senior designer per 5 anni. In questo periodo ha ricevuto premi da realtà come Print, Communications Arts e Broadcast Design Association.

212-BIG-BOLT è lo studio di design newyorkese fondato nel 1993 da Pieter Woudt. Dal 1998 Woudt progetta prodotti oltre a dirigere il suo studio di design. Woudt e/o il suo lavoro sono stati presentati su riviste e libri come Dutch, Print, P-I-E Books e Unholy Alliance.

Tra i clienti figurano: Classic Sports Network, Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York, ecount, Effective Brands, ESPN, Fountainhead, Gallery Spark, Jay-Vee Records, Jazz Foundation of America, Kikkerland, M/K Advertising, MTV, Museum at FIT, Photonica, Postworks, Relay, Rittor Music, Rock The Vote, Showtime, The Verbs, UNIF/X, USA Networks, VH1, VIACOM, Z100.

Oltre al design, Pieter suona la tromba e ha suonato su diversi dischi/CD; il più noto è con Matisyahu.

Pieter vive a Brooklyn con la sua compagna Ulalume, la figlia Anouk e il figlio Maximiliano.
